How to Apply
- Visit the federal government's  webpage to complete the application form for your applicable scholarship (i.e. New Scholar Application, Returning Scholar Application, Retention Scholarship).
- Complete and submit the supplemental materials listed in the application, following the required formatting standards and guidance.
Please allow sufficient time to complete the application, as it is very detailed and requires a significant amount of supplemental content, including a personal statement, resume, letter of reference, and possibly additional documentation.
This program is sponsored and administered by the federal government. The Center for Security Studies at t ºÚÁÏÉçÇø is the point of contact for students at t ºÚÁÏÉçÇø who wish to apply for this scholarship program.

Cybersecurity Designations
UMGC has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the National Security Agency and as a Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence (CDFAE) by the DC3 Academic Cyber Curriculum Alliance.
     
Please note: This designation allows the U.S. Department of Defense to offer this scholarship opportunity to UMGC students.
