President’s Medals

UMGC recognizes those receiving the highest honor for distinguished service bestowed by the university president.

The University of Maryland Global Campus President’s Medal is the highest honor for distinguished service that can be bestowed by the university. This award recognizes distinguished and extensive service on behalf of, and in support of, the university or service to the community at large. The President’s Medal is presented to those with a record of professional or civic accomplishment, a reputation of high integrity, and a commitment to the advancement of lifelong learning.
