Registration Steps

1. Navigate to
2. Login using your ºÚÁÏÉçÇø credentials.
3. On your computer, navigate to the .
4. Select + Add sign-in method.
5. Choose Microsoft Authenticator App.
6. Select I want to use a different authenticator app.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Next.
9. The Authenticator App – Scan the QR code pop-up is displayed
10. To Scan the QR code, click on the Authenticator app extension icon in the browser toolbar.
    • Note: The authenticator app icon in the toolbar is a QR code image.
11. Click on the pencil icon to Edit.
12. Select + next to Authenticator to register
13. Choose Scan QR Code.
14. Return to the Scan the QR code screen and use your mouse to drag over the QR code.
15. Click OK on the pop-up screen ("mysignins.microsoft.com says...").
16. Click Next on the Authenticator app → Scan the QR code screen.
17. A pop-up will appear asking for a 6-digit code to validate the registration.
18. Click on the authenticator app browser extension in the toolbar.
19. Copy the 6 digit code
20. Paste the code into the pop-up.
21. Click Next.
22. Registration is complete with a new authenticator entry in
    • Authenticator app - Time-based one-time password (TOTP)

How to Use the Authenticator App Edge Extension

1. Click the Authenticator app extension icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Copy the 6-digit code displayed.
3. Paste or type the code into the designated MFA login window.
