Biography
Daron Rodriguez joined UMGC as senior vice president and chief marketing and enrollment officer in February 2026. In this role, he leads the university鈥檚 integrated marketing and enrollment functions, overseeing brand and creative media, digital engagement, admissions, and the prospective student experience.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education marketing and enrollment, Rodriguez served most recently as vice president of enrollment at West Coast University, where he supported growth across online and on鈥慻round programs. Before that, he served as senior vice president of marketing and admissions at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design.
Earlier in his career, Rodriguez held enrollment and marketing leadership roles at Cogswell College, Argosy University, Kaplan University, and Career Education Corporation.
Rodriguez holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and is completing an MBA at American College of Education.
