Tutoring for College Success
& Student Life

University of Maryland Global Campus offers one-on-one subject tutoring at no cost via Tutor.com in a wide range of subjects for all students, including subjects for select undergraduate and graduate courses. Each student has ten hours of no-cost tutoring per month, accessible directly through your course classroom. We offer tutoring in a wide variety of areas that can help you build successful study habits, develop leadership skills, prepare for your career journey, and a whole lot more! We also offer tutoring in select programs such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, which is sure to be applicable in your future career journey. How to Access One-on-One Tutoring at No Cost

To request a one-on-one tutoring session:

  • Go to the "Academic Support" or "Resources" tab at the top of your course page.
  • Click on "Tutoring" to access UMGC's specialized Tutor.com platform.Ìý
  • Once in the Tutor.com platform, you can select the following tabs:
    • "Connect Now"Ìýto connect with a tutor at the moment (available 24/7),
    • "Schedule a Session"Ìýto schedule a time and day with a specific tutor, or
    • "Ask LEO" to get help from an AI tutor chatbot.
