- Solve a business problem: Evaluate a business problem or opportunity and provide a viable solution using a large-scale data analytics project.
- Complete a modeling project: Select a modeling approach, build and validate the model, and deploy the model for prediction and analysis.
- Evaluate performance: Evaluate the accuracy and performance of classifiers and predictors.Â
- Identify solutions: Identify and implement appropriate techniques using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Apply big data & AI: Apply analytics and AI technology to areas such as healthcare, marketing, insurance, cybersecurity, and science.
- Use current & emerging tech: Apply modern technology for stream analytics, text processing, natural language processing, AI, and cognitive applications.
This program requires a total of 30 credits. You’ll take 15 credits of core courses, 12 elective credits, and a 3-credit capstone.
