Joe Dyton is a writer and editor on the Marketing team at University of Maryland Global Campus, where he helps update and maintain the university’s written website content.

Prior to joining UMGC in 2023, Dyton was an in-house marketing copywriter at GEICO. He’s also been a reporter and editor for several print and digital publications over the course of his more than 20-year career.

Dyton earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, writing screenplays, playing the occasional game of “Madden,” and watching sports.
