Biography
Joe D鈥橫ello is a collegiate professor for the project management program in UMGC鈥檚 School of Business. His more than 30 years of industry experience includes technical, management, and executive positions and the founding of a successful consulting and training company.
The management courses and seminars he has taught at universities and corporations have been attended by practitioners, managers, and executives from various industries and companies including Apple, Boeing, Booz Allen Hamilton, Google, Microsoft, as well as small businesses, non-profits, and government and defense agencies. D鈥橫ello has been invited to present and deliver keynote addresses at national and international conferences and symposiums. 聽
D鈥橫ello has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a master鈥檚 and PhD in math from the Ohio State University. He is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), has a graduate certificate in project management from Stevens Institute of Technology, and is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP庐), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP庐), and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). In 2023, he earned a machine learning specialization certificate from Stanford University and an AI for business specialization certificate from the Wharton School of Business.
