UMGC Professor Cord Scott’s most recent book, The Mud and the Mirth: Marine Cartoonists in World War I, grew out of a paper he presented at a conference marking the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Marines’ activities in World War II.

UMGC Now Serves Troops Near War in Ukraine

UMGC is continuing its 75-year history of meeting students where they are, this time stepping forward to support servicemembers near the war in Ukraine, who are on the ground in Poland and Romania. There are plans to have educators on site in the spring.
