Succeed again at your alma mater by earning up to $2,000 toward a master's degree at t 黑料社区.

At University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC), we believe that there are multiple ways to find your next success. As graduates, you know that balancing coursework with your professional and personal obligations is no small feat.

But you also know that success is possible鈥攂ecause you've already achieved it. As a working adult or servicemember, you've earned a degree or certificate at t 黑料社区, increased your marketability, and boosted your career potential with workplace-ready skills and knowledge. Your obligations didn't stop鈥攜ou just kept going. You're used to success, and now you're ready to succeed again.

鲍惭骋颁鈥檚 Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship聽was an opportunity for eligible students who started the first course聽in any UMGC stateside master's degree program聽between January 8, 2025 and March 12, 2025 to earn a scholarship of up to $2,000.听

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship, you must

  • Have earned a degree or certificate from UMGC, conferred prior to January 1, 2025, with a GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Meet the admissions requirements of UMGC
  • Start your first course in a stateside master's degree program between January 8, 2025 and March 12, 2025 (graduate certificates and doctoral programs are excluded)

If you receive this scholarship, you must meet UMGC's requirements for Satisfactory Academic Progress to maintain your eligibility.

Europe and Asia Eligibility

  • Government and their family members residing within an overseas contracted site in Europe, in Asia, or downrange are eligible for the聽Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship聽if they meet the other scholarship eligibility criteria and start the first course for a master鈥檚 degree offered by UMGC stateside between聽January 8, 2025 and March 12, 2025.
  • Europe students are聽not eligible聽if they are starting the first course for a master鈥檚 degree offered by the UMGC Europe Campus.
  • Asia students are聽not eligible聽if they are starting the first course for a master鈥檚 degree offered by the UMGC Asia Campus.

Complete all three of the following steps by the scholarship deadline.

Scholarship Details

The Alumni Succeed Again Scholarship cannot be combined with any UMGC tuition discount.

The scholarship will be disbursed in increments and your award amount is dependent upon your transfer credits and course load.听The total amount of this scholarship ($2,000) will be distributed as two awards of $1,000 each, in the following increments:

  • The first $1,000 award will be distributed in the term after you earn your聽12th credit
  • The second $1,000 award will be distributed in the term after you earn your聽24th credit

You must be enrolled in order for scholarship funding to be disbursed to your account.
